I already can predict yesterdays’ outcome based on the team’s starting lineup. Playing your central midfield players (Denilson, Diaby) on the wing, – that’s brilliant. But what makes it so dissaponting is the current team lacks the winning mentality and of course consistency. Even so-called reliable players like Clichy and Sagna are now making silly (sometime costly) mistakes, and judging by last night perfomance, Clichy still lacks concentration in later period of the game, (Birmingham, Spurs).

For the moment, I still believe Wenger is the man to lead Arsenal to glory this season. But If he tend to playing out-of-position players just for the sake because they’re good in trainng (while rubbish on the pitch), I think he should try his luck at another club. presumably PSG. I thought Wilshere did a decent job in Portugal, and I thought this is the game where Wenger should unleashed him on the wing. Diaby was never a winger, and for the umpteenth time, he failed miserably last night. So did Denilson, he failed to link up nicely with Sagna, and resulting not creating chances upfront.

Denilson and Song tried their best to emulate Flamini’s success but even though Denilson is skillful, but lacking the combative spirit and reading of the game. They supposed to protect the defence and breaking up opposition moves, but what happened now is, Fabregas is doing that job while Denilson & Song keep losing the ball in crucial areas. Are we putting too much pressure on them to succeed? Maybe. Fabregas was played some decent football but again, the midfield players around him failed to compliment his talent.

Interesting to know that they aren’t many fans wearing Arsenal’s shirt carrying SONG/DENILSON/EBOUE or DIABY’s name at the back. I can still remember when I saw fans proudly wearing Arsenal’s shirt with PIRES/BERGKAMP/HENRY/VIEIRA and KEOWN’s name at the back. But now, I think most fans are going for FABREGAS, VAN PERSIE and WALCOTT. Yes, I know this proofs nothing, but isn’t this the time Wenger figuring out who should stay or go in January or May 2009?

Gone In November

Thanks for the good times, Wenger. Too bad, it have to end this way.

Another defeat, against a decent Man City team. No, it’s not just about the result anymore that disappoints the fans, but the manner that the team being outclassed, outplayed and definitely out muscled in the midfield area.I think it’s time for Wenger to leave the managing stuff to other personals, and yes, you should be more than welcomed to the Arsenal board.

Wenger, at one time, letting Flamini and Gilberto moving elsewhere was understandable, that is because we felt that you will replace him with excellent replacements; (Alonso, Barry, Veloso etc) but when you decide to pair mediocre players like Denilson or Song with Fabregas, that’s definitely a signal that you are trusting too much on your players. What makes it worse is that, we’re still in November, and we already 10 points adrift the leaders. This is way too much for any Arsenal fans out there.

Forget Resistances 2 or Far Cry 2  or even the new Fallout 3, because they can’t topped the new Gears Of War sequel. It’s not just a great FPS game, it also managed to fix all the flaws appeared in the previous GOW. And that for me means the developer is comitted to turn this game into full-scale-in-your-face classic. Not only that, the story is much better but what’s important for me is – MULTIPLAYER! More weapons, more maps, nastier enemies and of course with more multiplayer modes, especially the HORDE mode.

In short, if you’re thinking in buying a (new) console, then seriously consider getting an Xbox 360 because with other consoles, you won’t experience the beauty and excitement in  multiplayer mode.

Is it a record that will provoke some kinda new scene in 2009? Perhaps.

Will we see Deerhunter going mainstream after this album? Maybe. But that also depends on how you catagorized such great bands, such as Radiohead or The Talking Heads.

Have Brandon & Co released another masterpiece just like “Loveless” or  “Ok Computer”? No, not yet, but they are getting there.

So why is suddenly Deerhunter concentrating on doing more song-oriented stuff rather than going experimental like Cryptograms? Maybe because they’re tired of being snubbed for not opening for Radiohead. Granted, they may have gain valuable experience during their tour with Nine Inch Nails and that is just why the new album is so good. Tracks like Microcastle and Agorophobia shows that they can be psychedelic and pop in the same time. Yes, Deerhunter is a pop band.

I’ve heard about Dapper last year, and I even tried to get into their beta ,   but only now I’ve got the opportunity to use Dapper.

No doubt this is one terrific tool for newbies like me. I’m sure plenty of people out there have their own way in getting more hits on their websites/blogs, but for me, it’s all about Dapper’ simplicity in promoting and enhancing the potential of our websites.

And now, there is one more surprise from Dapper, they’re currently testing a new tool called MashupAds where we can create our own display ads from the contents in our website. Well, it’s currently in private beta (I hate this) and I just hope I managed to play with this new tool soon.

And yes, I would like to see if there is any truth on M’soft releasing only one version of Windows 7 (unlike XP & Vista coming in Home, Professional & Ultimate edition”.  If Windows 7 really works in current netbooks, this mean that I may have just to wait for at least until April 09 to buy a  new netbook/notebook (maybe with touchscreen features).
